I hope you all have had a great time over the holidays! I know we did, but normal life is about to restart and January's calendar seems to be already full! I just wanted to remind you of some of the upcoming Guild happenings so you could get them on your calendar too.
- Thursday, January 17th - Guild Meeting @ 6:30 pm at the Urbandale Public Library. Topic: What is Modern Quilting? We will also be handing out fabric for the Madrona Road Challenge.
- Saturday, January 19th - Sewing Day from 8 am to 10 pm (is that too late?) at the LDS Church in Ankeny (721 East 1st Street). Be sure to bring your sewing machine, projects, snacks to share and an extension cord. The church is located within 2 blocks of 9 different restaurants so you can plan to go out to lunch/dinner or bring a sack lunch. We will have at least two irons and ironing boards there as well as a cutting mat, but feel free to bring your own if you would like. There is no fee to attend and this would be a great event to invite a friend to!
- February 21st - Guild Meeting @ 6:30 pm at the Urbandale Public Library. In addition to our program, we will be collecting place mats at this meeting to donate to Meals-on-Wheels. Bring a few to donate!
- March 21st - Guild Meeting @ 6:30 pm at the Urbandale Public Library. Bring your Madrona Road Challenge projects to show.
